Wat Chetlin Phra Sing, Muang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai. According to Khlong Nirat Hariphunchai, a type of prose, the temple was first established before B.A. 2060.
The coronation ceremony of King Mekut Suthiwong, the 17th King of the Mangrai Dynasty, took place in this temple. The word "lin" means an open pipe, so "Chalin" literally means seven open pipes used in coronation ceremony.
Around the enclosure, there is a swamp which leads to the another name of the temple, Wat Nong (a swamp) Chalin. The ruined chedi figured the overturned and faced up lotuses form, four decorative façades, bell-shaped body, and the chedi's top which was tumbled down.
The temple was declared and registered as a national historic site with the declaration in the government gazette, Volume 103, Part 65 on 22 April B.E 2529.
